About Parkway Microfinance Bank

PARKWAY MICROFINANCE BANK LIMITED is a leading State Microfinance Bank offering comprehensive, affordable, dependable and specialized financial solutions to the enterprising Active Poor and burgeoning small and medium size enterprises. The Bank was incorporated in July 2007 and was granted License to commence microfinance banking business by the Central Bank of Nigeria on January 10, 2008.

Our goal is to reduce the population living below the poverty line by intervening and enhancing the capacities of the low end actively engaged populace which is in line with global, national and state initiatives of poverty alleviation. We continually focus on the unbanked and seemingly un-bankable and convert these into the formal sector and viable businesses.

The Banks corporate head office is strategically located in the high density and trading nerve center of Lagos Island at 138/146 Broad Street, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Since its inception, the Bank has been in the forefront of leading strategic product developments and tailor made services to alleviate the pains of the Active Poor and the enterprises. Our clientele base range from individuals to small and medium enterprises, with a motive to consciously create wealth to its identified clientele, especially the low end actively engaged populace. The Bank has since inception disbursed a lot as loans to various cottage, micro and SME customers and has a current customer base of over 30,000 customers.

Capitalization

Presently, the Authorized Share Capital of the bank is N500 Million of which above N400 Million is Paid Up thereby making Parkway Microfinance Bank Limited one of the most capitalized Microfinance banks in Nigeria.

I.T Infrastructure

Parkway presently runs on PRIME - banking software. This software is a functionally rich banking solution designed to deliver distributed, regionalized or centralized solutions to all the needs of modern micro banking.

Women Centrism

In recognition of the pivotal role played by women in commerce and the society at large, our products and services are women centric. Over 70% of our customer base is made up of women.
